Season 1 Summary
Meet Junie, Buttercup, and Ruby — three girl gnomes with one year left before they’re sent into the gnome world to take on grown-up gnome work. Junie has a plan to graduate at the top of her class and land the most coveted gig in the gnome world: private contractor gnomes who can find anything.
The catch? She’s tackling her senior year’s final project a year early.
The mission: secure one personal item from each human living in the house her family is assigned to. Four humans. Four items. Five days. One overachieving leader, one bow-loving baker, and one mechanical genius who can fix (or break into) anything.
They’ve already started. The little boy’s missing soccer shorts? Hanging in their lair as a “curtain.” Nobody noticed. Easy.
But when they snag a teenage cheerleader’s spirit sock right out from under the humans’ noses, the whole house erupts in panic — and Junie’s gnome father is suddenly convinced there are gnome robbers on the loose.
Now Junie has a new problem. Her dad has assigned her and her crew a “job”: find the missing sock and catch the thieves. The very thieves she’s leading.
Throw in a stoner older brother, a sleeping human with very findable glasses, a cupcake heist with a three-day countdown, and a school presentation Junie absolutely cannot let her father attend — and Season 1 is shaping up to be the most ambitious junior year any gnome has ever attempted.
Can three little gnomes pull off the biggest cover-up of their school careers? Can Junie outsmart her own father? And what exactly does Ruby have up her sleeve to keep dad away from the presentation?
One thing’s for sure: these girls are sneakier than they look.
